Mrs. Dorothy Kate “Dot” Huskins, age 85 of the Embreeville Community passed away Monday, March 25, 2013 at the Johnson City Medical Center.

Mrs. Huskins was a native of Washington County and daughter of the late, Daniel C. & Sarah Hilton Lockner.

She attended Mt. O’Dell Freewill Baptist Church.

Mrs. Huskins was employed by Empire Furniture and Dunbar Pepper Plant.

Survivors include her husband, James Huskins, Erwin; two sisters, Patsy White and husband, Homer and Jessie Story; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 8:00 pm Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Russell Wheeler and Rev. Randy Bolling officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday prior to the service.

Interment services will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Bumpass Cove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be family & friends.
