Mrs. Carolyn Elizabeth Carson, age 88, Limestone, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at the Lakebridge Healthcare Center.

Mrs. Carson was a native of Washington County and daughter of the late Wayne & Ada Smith Patton. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Carson was also preceded in death by her husband, James Fred Carson, three sisters, Ruth Patton, Marie Lewis and Erma O’Dell and one brother, John Patton.

She was a member of Limestone Church of the Brethren and attended Telford Grace Brethren Church.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Tim & Kathy Carson, Limestone; daughter and son-in-law, Judy & Tony Clift, Strawberry Plains; grandchildren, Tonya Andrew, Sevierville, Aaron Clift, Strawberry Plains, Megan Stinnett (Gary), Sevierville, Claudia Haws (Ben), Johnson City and Laura Ore (Thomas), Estill Springs, TN; great-grandchildren, Anna Grace Andrew, Lilly Stinnett, Ella Stinnett and Emery Haws; one sister, Jane Osborne, Telford; and several nephews and nieces.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Lakebridge Healthcare Center and caregivers, Elsie & Tammy.

Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 pm Friday, February 22, 2013 at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Griffith and Pastor Bob Skeen officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Friday prior to the service and other times at the home of Tim Carson.

Interment services will be conducted 12, Noon, Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Providence Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Clift, Ben Haws, Thomas Ore, Gary Stinnett, Marty Osborne and Wayne Lewis.
