Mr. James Allen “Jim” Walsh, II, age 68, Jonesborough, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Lakebridge Healthcare Center.
Mr. Walsh was born in Akron, Ohio and son of the late James “Bill” & Imogene Britton Walsh. In addition to his parents, Mr. Walsh was also preceded in death by a son, Bill Walsh.
He was a member of Jonesborough Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Walsh was a United States Navy Veteran. He was Chemical Operator at Eastman Chemical Company.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Royston Walsh, Jonesborough; daughter and son-in-law, Alison Walsh & Brian Jones; daughter-in-law, Michele Walsh; step-son, Dr. Rick Royston and wife, Stephanie; grandchildren, Colton Jones, Spencer Walsh and Caroline Walsh; step-grandchild, Asher Royston; sisters and brothers-in-law, Janice & Lew Weems and Sara & Jack France; sister-in-law, Kristi Harrell and husband, Andy and their son, Holden; nephews, Rick Weems, Tommy Weems and Jameson France; nieces, Lauren Miller and Leslie Weems and mother-in-law, Jesse Tucker; mother of his children, Judy Walsh.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Dr. Mark Harrod officiating. Interment services will follow at Maple Lawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jack France, Roy Crowe, Kevin Mashburn, David Foster and Bill Long. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Vermillion, and Jim Good.
