Mr. George B. “Rusty” Johnson, Jr. age 57, Jonesborough, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013.

Mr. Johnson was a native of Washington County and son of the late George & Goldie M. Ryans Johnson.

He was a member of Bethel Christian Church. He loved his family and friends.

Mr. Johnson retired from Ryan’s Construction Company.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon A. Sproles Johnson, Jonesborough; sons and daughters-in-law, Chad & Wendy Bristol and Byron & Hollie Bristol, all of Johnson City; brother, Sandy Johnson, Gray; sister, Debbie Johnson, Gray; grandchildren, Kyron Bristol, Connor Rollins, Eli Bristol, Daliah Bristol, Olivia Bristol, Bailey Bristol, Izmerelda Furguson, Brienna Hoilman and Isaiah Bloomer; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Minister Vincent Dial officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm Wednesday prior to the service.
