Mr. Jay William Davis, age 39, passed away Friday, January 11, 2013 at the Johnson City Medical Center.

Mr. Davis was a native of Washington County and son of J.W. & Dorothy White Davis, Jonesborough.

He was employed by Tim Harmon Construction Company and enjoyed carpentry.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Jennifer Davis; two sons, Harold Lee Davis and Gabriel Douglas; two brothers, Greg Davis and Johnny Davis; two sisters, Brenda Hensley and husband, Jason, and Kathy Hodges; two aunts, Brenda Hicks and Juanita Bogart; uncles, George White, Jim Davis and Charles Davis; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 4:00 pm Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Lenny Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 pm Tuesday prior to the service.

Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 pm Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at White Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Charlie Byrd, Rusty Lowe, Robert Hensley, Brian McCurry, Ricky Harrell, Wesley Spurlock, David White and Tim Harmon. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Hughes and Chad Hughes.
