Mr. James “Jim” Crouch, age 89, Boones Creek community, died Friday, January 4, 2013 at his residence.

Mr. Crouch was a native of Washington County and son of the late John P. & Pauline Estes Crouch.

Mr. Crouch was a farmer and Sheriff of Washington County, Tennessee from 1960-1966.

Survivors include his wife Myrtle Barry Crouch, of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Larry A. & Brenda Crouch, Gray; daughter and son-in-law, Linda Crouch McCreadie & Eddie McCreadie, Gray; sister, Dorothy Crouch Cox, Kingsport; grandson, Jason Crouch and wife, Moya, Louisville, TN; great-granddaughter, Julia Crouch, Louisville; and several nephews and nieces.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 pm Monday, January 7, 2013 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 am Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at the cemetery at Boones Creek Baptist Church with Minister David Clark officiating.

Pallbearers will be members of Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
