Mrs. Ruby Lee McCurry Sauls, age 81, Telford, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2012 at her residence.

Mrs. Sauls was a native of Washington County and daughter of the late Mart & Lottie L. Holt McCurry. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sauls was also preceded in death by three brothers, Jessie Jay McCurry, Carl Clayton McCurry and Roy Lee McCurry, and a grandson, Darrell Lee Sauls, Jr.

She retired from Johnson City Medical Center as Dispatcher after 30 years of service.

Mrs. Sauls was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include her husband, William Edward Sauls, Telford; daughters, Judy A. Davis (Stoney) and Sarah Sauls, both of Telford; sons, William L. Sauls (Kathy) and Darrell L. Sauls (Becky); sisters, Mary Kate Dykes and Betty McKeean; brothers, Sylvester McCurry, Kenneth McCurry and Claude McCurry; 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren; 4 sisters-in-laws; and several nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be conducted 8:00 pm Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Bob Smallwood officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday prior to the service.

Interment services will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, January 3, 2012 at Washington County Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be John Silvers, Stoney Davis, Mike Hoss, Rick Sauls, Mike McCurry and Ben Voorhees.
