Mrs. Willie Cile Jobe, age 86, Knoxville, formerly of Jonesborough, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Parkwest Medical Center.

Mrs. Jobe was a native of Washington County and daughter of the late Earl & Stella Gentry Hensley. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jobe was also preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Robert “Bob” Jobe, one daughter, Dr. Judy Emery and two sisters.

She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and former member of Telford Grace Brethren Church. She enjoyed studying the Bible and read it through yearly for the past 30 years. She loved to read and learn and encouraged her children to further their education.

Mrs. Jobe had been a Beautician for over 30 years.

Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Brenda & Rev. Dr. Jeff Bemesderfer, Knoxville and Dr. Jennie Jobe, Clinton, TN; grandchildren, Allan Emery, Washington, DC, Kim Okesson, Lexington, KY, John Bemesderfer, Boston, Massachusetts; Steve Emery, Syracuse, New York and Beth Jones, Richmond, VA; special brother-in-law, Orval Sliger; nine great-grandchildren; and one niece and three nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11:00-1:00 pm Saturday prior to service. Interment services will follow at Grace Brethren Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Everett Mashburn, Gregg Okesson, Allan Emery, Steve Emery, John Bemesderfer and Jeff Bemesderfer.
