Mrs. Margaret L. Brown, 95, Elizabethton, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2012 at the Johnson City Medical Center Hospital.

She was a native of Washington D.C. and the daughter of the late Joseph and Irene Gray. She was also preceded in death by her husband Bernard Brown, and grand daughter, who was raised by her, Donna Holt.

Mrs. Brown was a retired government employee working in Washington D.C. for many years, as an auditor for the dept. of finance and records.

She was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include two daughters, June Settle, Virginia, Virginia Van, Wisconsin, one son, George Brown, Florida, three great grand daughters, Angela Jett, Tonya Grier, Michele King and one great grandson, Jesse Adams III.

Funeral services for Mrs. Brown will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Lees Funeral Home in Clinton Maryland. Interment will follow in Trinity Memorial Gardens, in Waldorf, Maryland.
