Mr. William “Bill” Johnson, 46, Telford, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2012 at his residence.

He was a native of Greene County and son of the late Earnest Clyde Johnson and Shirley Gregory. In addition to his father he also was preceded in death by a sister-in-law Misty Briggs.

Mr. Johnson was a ship builder and truck driver. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the North American Hunting Club.

He was of the Baptist faith and loved the Lord very much. He was a caring person, a loving and devoted husband and father, and he had a love for everyone.

Survivors include his wife April Johnson, of the home, his mother Shirley Gregory, Chuckey, two daughters, Kassidy Johnson, Virginia, Mallori Johnson, Georgia, one step-daughter Eryn Johnson, Virginia, a special Grandson, three brothers, Leonard Johnson, Georgia, Mark Johnson, Telford, Scott Johnson, North Carolina, two special nephews, Kadin and Noah Briggs, a special father-in-law and mother-in-law, Perry and Susie Painter of the home and a niece Amber Johnson.

A memorial service will be held for Mr. Johnson at 2 pm Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home for family and close friends. Pastor Lynn Mercer will be conducting the service.
