Mr. Derrick Paul Archer, age 37, Limestone, passed away unexpectedly Monday, November 5, 2012 at his residence.

Mr. Archer was a native of Washington County and the son of Paul Archer and wife, Teressa, Johnson City and Joy Gail Greene and husband, Stuart, Jonesborough.

He had attended Happy Valley Church of Jesus Christ.

Mr. Archer was a Fitness Trainer and Co-Owner of The Bull Pit. Derrick loved his children and knew no strangers He enjoyed sports, especially softball and loved his Pit Bull dogs.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his fiancée, Daisy Liu, Limestone; children, Calen Archer, Trevor Archer, Nicholas Roman and Katara Archer; two sisters and brothers-in-law , Rebecca & Jason Pickering and Stacie & Matthew Hensley; two brothers and sister-in-law, Eddie Archer and fiancée Melissa and Steven & Debora Archer; three nieces, six nephews, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted 8:00 pm Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. John Hornyak and Bro. Wes Willis officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday prior to the service.
