Ms. Anna Lou McCracken, age 85, Limestone, passed away Friday, October 26, 2012 at the Signature Healthcare of Greeneville.

She was a native of Washington County and daughter of the late John M. & Pearl Johnson. In addition to her parents, Ms. McCracken was also preceded in death by one brother, Donald Johnson.

Ms. McCracken was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church for 49 years, where she had served as church clerk for 25 years and a Sunday school teacher.

Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Larry & Betty McCracken, Greeneville, Mike & Marilyn McCracken, Jonesborough, Steve & Joan McCracken and Randy McCracken, all of Limestone; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carol & Dean Brown, South Central Community and Sandra Davis, Johnson City; two sisters, Bonda Hensley, Limestone and Wanda Danko, Johnson City; grandchildren, Lori McCracken, Linda McCracken, David Brown, Tammy Davis and Amy Ford; great-grandchildren, Allie Southerland, Sadie Smith, Zachary Ford and Megan Harris.

Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 pm Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Sam Smith and Pastor Charles Morgan officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 5:00-7:00 pm Sunday prior to the service.

Interment services will be conducted 11:00 am Monday, October 29, 2012 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be family & friends.
