Mrs. Brenda Hays, age 68, Jonesborough, passed away Wednesday September 12, 2012 at Lakebridge Health Care Center.

Mrs. Hays was a native of Washington County, TN and the daughter of the late Walter L. and Anna Mae Stafford Loyd Sr. She was also preceded in death by her husband Wayne Hays and one brother Larry Loyd.

Mrs. Hays was a 1962 graduate of Washington Collage Academy and also received a degree from Steed Collage.

Mrs. Hays was a member of Salem Presbyterian Church and attended Telford United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one sister Anne Frances Loyd Graves, four brothers and sisters in laws; Kenneth L. Loyd (Patsy), Walter L. Loyd Jr., Darrel W. Loyd ( Carol), and Jerry L. Loyd (Linda); nephews and nieces, Randy Loyd, Timmy Loyd ( Michelle), Steve Loyd ( Karen), Becky Loyd Frazier( Tom), Carrie Loyd Harden, Richard D. Loyd ( Charlene), Patrick Loyd ( Missy), Amy Loyd Pleasant (Marvin), Carla Loyd Weems (Kevin) and Schery Collins ( Mike); several Special Friends; a special care-giver, Pat Hagy; and very special pet “Carly”.

Memorial services will be Friday September 14, 2012 8:00 PM at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Looney and Pastor Jeremy Dykes officiating and Jane Asher with the eulogy. The Family will receive friends from 6:00- 8:00 PM prior to the service.

Inurnment will be Saturday, September 15, 2012, 10:00 AM at Telford United Methodist Cemetery, everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery.
