Mrs. Ethel Frances Broyles, age 84, Jonesborough, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at the Johnson City Medical Center.

Mrs. Broyles was a native of Washington County and daughter of the late Andrew Jackson, Sr. & Ollie McKee Smith. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Broyles was also preceded in death by her first husband, Ruble “Byrd” Legg and second husband, James “Hack” Broyles, brother, Harold D. Smith and a nephew, Allan Wayne Smith.

She was a member of Jonesborough Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include one brother, Andrew Jackson “Jack” Smith, Jr., OK; nephews, Charles Andrew Smith, CA and Harold Thomas Smith, OK; one niece, Sharon Yvonne Smith Robinson, FL; and caregivers, Becky Hale and Becky Pond.

Graveside services will be conducted 4:00 pm Friday, August 24, 2012 at Fairview Cemetery.
