Mr. Raymond Louis Greenway, left this world and went to his heavenly home, Sunday, July 8, 2012, while in the John Reed Nursing Home in Telford.

He was a native of Washington County the son of the late Roy and Nina Cox Greenway. He was also preceded in death by his wife Dorothy in November 2008 and a brother Ivan Greenway.

Mr. Greenway was a World War II Navy Veteran. He retired from the telephone company.

Survivors include one son Gary Greenway and wife Beth of Cartersville Ga., two
Daughters, Yvette Smith and husband Tim, Bluff City, Susan Kirk and husband Roger, Erwin, grandchild, Lewis Kirk and wife April, Erwin, one great grandchild, Elijah Kirk Erwin, sister-in-law Patricia Greenway, two sisters and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services for Mr. Greenway will be conducted at Roselawn Cemetery in Johnson City, on Tuesday July 10, 2012 at 11 am with the Boone Dam VFW Color Guard presenting honors. The family request that all who wish to attend meet at the cemetery just before 11 am.
