Mrs. Mary Morgan, affectionately known as “Little Mary” age 88, Jonesborough, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at the Johnson City Medical Center.

Mrs. Morgan was a native of Carter County and daughter of the late Joseph F. & Grace Baker Walker. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Morgan was also preceded in death by her husband, Mark D. Morgan, one brother, James Walker and one sister, Margaret Smith.

She had been a life time member of Central Christian Church.

Mrs. Morgan retired from Mauk’s of Jonesborough after 27 years of service.

Meme will be remembered for her loving, kind, giving nature and for her rice crispy treats and banana pudding.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Jim & Jan Morgan, Greeneville and Davis & Sandy Morgan, Gainesville, FL; four granddaughters, Lou Ellen Neret, Mary Beth Mohr, both of Florida, Lisa Jones and Julia Lineback, five great grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Jenny & Gary Stayer; Tami Parrish, Ginger Stayer and Gary Stayer; two nieces, Shelby Jean Anderson and Sherry Fox.

The family would like to send a very special thank you to the 5400 wing of the Johnson City Medical Center Nurses & Staff and Dr. Kevin Sweet and Dr. Crisostomo.

There will be no formal service or visitation at her request. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Kidney Foundation or donate a book to the organization of your choice.
