Mr. Bill J. Correll, age 77, Jonesborough, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Lakebridge Health Care Center.

Mr. Correll was a native of Washington County and son of the late John & Anna Belle Sumnter Correll. In addition to his parents, Mr. Correll was also preceded in death by a son, Doug Correll and a brother, Jerry Correll.

He was a lifelong member of Jonesborough Presbyterian Church.

Mr. Correll retired from AFG Industries after 42 years of service.

Survivors include his wife, Betty J. Correll, Jonesborough; son and daughter-in-law, Greg & Kim Correll, Chuckey; daughter and son-in-law, Tracy & Tony Snapp, Jonesborough; grandchildren, Haeli Correll, Chuckey and Brooklyn Snapp, Jonesborough; step grandson, Matthew Barkley and wife Debra, Telford; three great-grandchildren, Kiersten Barkley, Callie Barkley and Peyton Morrow; two brothers, Clyde Correll, Kingsport and Bob Correll, North Carolina; and several nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be conducted 8:00 pm Friday, June 15, 2012 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Alan Huff officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Friday prior to the service.

Interment services will be conducted 10:30 am Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Maple Lawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tony Snapp, Sam Snapp, Walter Sherfey, Matthew Barkley, Raymond Berryhill and Jimmy Morrow.
