James Allen Walsh, III

Mr. James Allen “Bill” Walsh, III age 44, Jonesborough passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at the Johnson City Medical Center following a brief battle with Melanoma.

Mr. Walsh was a native of Washington County and son of James “Jim” A. Walsh, II and Judy Gillin Walsh, Johnson City.

He attended Trinity Baptist Church.

Mr. Walsh was a Rural Mail Carrier for the United States Postal Service and previously co-owner of Custom Exteriors in Johnson City.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Michele Ferguson Walsh, Jonesborough; son, Spencer Walsh, Jonesborough; daughter, Caroline Walsh, Jonesborough; sister and brother-in-law, Alison Walsh & Brian Jones, Jonesborough; nephew, Colton Jones, Jonesborough; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jay & Betty Ferguson, Jonesborough; and a brother-in-law, Ernie Ferguson.

Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 pm Friday, June 1, 2012 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Dr. Mark Harrod & Rev. Jimmy Rogers officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Friday prior to the service.

Interment services will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Maple Lawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tim Wright, Kevin Mashburn, Allen Kyker, Eddie Cress, Harold Mullins and David Foster.
