Mr. Carl Clayton McCurry, age 65, Jonesborough, passed away Monday, April 30, 2012, at the Johnson City Medical Center.

Mr. McCurry was a native of Washington County and son of the late Mart S. & Lottie Holt McCurry. In addition to his parents, Mr. McCurry was also preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Millard and two brothers, Jessie L. McCurry and Roy McCurry.

He was a member of the Moose Club.

Mr. McCurry was owner and operator of McCurry Transport.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Marie Herandes McCurry, Jonesborough; daughter, Donna Marie Millard; three sons and daughters-in-law, David & Rebecca McCurry, Chuckey, Carl Jr. & Crystal McCurry and Clifton McCurry, all of Telford; thirteen grandchildren; brothers, Sylvester McCurry, Limestone, Kenneth McCurry, Jonesborough and Claude McCurry, Limestone; sisters, Ruby Sauls, Telford, Kate Dykes, Jonesborough and Betty McKeehan, Kingsport; and several nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be conducted 8:00 pm Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Rogers officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday prior to the service.

Interment services will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Washington County Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be John Lewis, Mike McCurry, Larry McCurry, Oliver Hilton, Joe Ferguson and Carter Everhart.
