Mr. Kyle McQueen, age 87, Limestone, passed away Monday, April 2, 2012 at the Johnson City Medical Center.

Mr. McQueen was a native of Johnson County and son of the late Cyrus Monroe & Hazel Robertoon McQueen. In addition to his parents, Mr. McQueen was also preceded in death by two sisters.

He was a member and deacon of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Mr. McQueen was on the board of directors of Washington County Farm Bureau, Advisory Board for Farm Credit Services and member of many other farm organizations.

He was a Dairy & Beef Farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Louise Day McQueen, of the home; son and daughter-in-law, David Cyrus “DC” & Joan McQueen; daughter, Patsy McQueen Greene; grandchildren, Daniel Greene, Debbie Abbott and Becky Zinnianti; special niece, Jean Bates; four great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Kate Day Wilson; brother-in-law, Clyde Day; special friends, Martin and Phyllis Laws; several nephews and nieces; and two special pets, Gracie & Mollie.

The family would like to send special thanks to NHC Health Care of Johnson City and 5300 floor nurses and staff of Johnson City Medical Center.

Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 pm Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Craig Ponder and Rev. Charles Morgan officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Wednesday prior to the service.

Interment services will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be family & friends.
