Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 pm Monday, March 5, 2012 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Marcus Mecum officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 3:00 pm Monday prior to the service. Interment services will follow at Maple Lawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jason Vaughn, Jordan Vaughn, Michael Vaughn, Johnny Painter, Chris Stapleton, Patrick Fitzgerald, David Hughes and Kenneth Alder.


Mrs. Connie Denise Vaughn, age 57, Telford, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2012 at the Johnson City Medical Center.

Mrs. Vaughn was born in Johnson City and daughter of Harold Mink Ramsey, Johnson City and the late Mary Ruth LaFollette Ramsey.

She was a member of Fountain of Life Bible Church.

Mrs. Vaughn was a Registered Nurse at the Johnson City Medical Center Post Op. She graduated Science Hill High School in 1973 and East Tennessee State University in 1991.

In addition to her father, survivors include her husband, Mike Vaughn, of the home; one sister and brother-in-law, Sharon & John Salyers, Johnson City; niece, Heather Hughes and husband, David; uncle, R.B. Ramsey; aunt, Madge Crain; mother-in-law, Gladys Vaughn, Johnson City; brother and sister-in-law, Victor & Sarah Vaughn, Cincinnati; and a sister and brother-in-law, Sharon & Rik Stapleton, Asheville.
