The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Friday, February 10, 2012 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Jon Reed officiating. Interment services will follow at Fairview Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be James Rogers, Arland Johnson, David Bouknight, Mike Etter, Tim Williams, Raymond Hooks, Richard Haines and Lester Roberts, III.

Memorial donations may be made to Samaritan’s Purse, gift #6 children with disabilities, operation Christmas child.


Mr. Robert William Haines, age 61, Limestone, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at the Johnson City Medical Center.

Mr. Haines was a native of Washington County and son of Beulah Kathryn Carroll Haines and the late Cecil Foster Haines. In addition to his father, Mr. Haines was also preceded in death by a brother, Dale Haines.

He attended Sulphur Springs Baptist Church.

Mr. Haines retired from Nanophase Technologies. He was a member of the American Chemical Society. He was also an avid woodworker.

In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Pamela Rogers Haines, Limestone; one daughter, Hannah Haines, Limestone; one brother, Richard Haines, Johnson City; and a sister, Beverly Lowe, Raleigh, NC.
