Funeral services will be conducted 6:00 pm Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 pm Saturday prior to the service.

Interment services will be conducted 1:00 pm Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Silvers Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Family & Friends.


Mr. Richard Thomas Lamb, age 76, Jonesborough, TN passed away Thursday, February 2, 2012 at the Johnson City Medical Center.

Mr. Lamb was born in New York State and son of the late Chester & Helen Henry Lamb. In addition to his parents, Mr. Lamb was also preceded in death by a daughter, Deloris Lamb and a sister, Emma McGee.

He retired from the United States Navy, having received a Bronze Star.

He enjoyed lawn tractor pulls, NASCAR, especial Dale Earnhart and feeding wildlife.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Silvers Lamb, Jonesborough; daughters and sons-in-law, Bernice & Ken McCarty and Patricia & Arthur Jenkins; grandchildren, Brook Rust, Ashley Rust, Nicole Jenkins and A.J. Jenkins; great grandchildren, Colten Allen Taylor and Declan Murphy; and several nieces and nephews.
