The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:30 pm Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at New Salem Cemetery with Rev. Paul Crow officiating.

Ms. Helen A. Wright, age 90, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2012 at the Appalachian Christian Village.

Ms. Wright was born in Telford and daughter of the late John C. & Eveline Lafollette Wright. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wright was also preceded in death by three brothers, Cecil Wright, Crawford Wright and John R. Wright, three sisters, Pearl Wright, Jessie Watts and Josephine Day.

She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church but attended Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include one sister, Mary Jane Neal, Johnson City; two special nieces, Kathy Watts and Janie Flanary; two special nephews, Tim Neal and Gary Flanary; several nephews and nieces, and great nephews and nieces, and great great-nephews and nieces.
