Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Clinton Ramey officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00-1:00 pm Thursday prior to the service. Interment services will follow at County Line Cemetery in Hawkins County.



Pallbearers will be family & friends.



Mrs. Bonnie Mae Strong, age 69, Jonesborough, passed away Monday, February 6, 2012 at the Johnson City Medical Center.



Mrs. Strong was born in Church Hill, Tennessee and was a daughter of the late Arthur & Nellie Ward Smith. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Strong was also preceded in death by her husband, Homer Strong.



She was of the Baptist faith.



Mrs. Strong retired from Magnavox.



Survivors include three sisters, Maggie Barnes, Daisy Scism, both of Jonesborough and Marsha Sexton and husband, Gary, Rogersville; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Daniel & Mary Smith, Kingsport, Johnny & Rita Smith, Jonesborough and David & Patty Smith, Kingsport; special niece, Sheila Smith; special great-nieces, Cheyenne & Autumn Smith; and several nephews and nieces.
