The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 pm Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Highland Cemetery. Family request friends meet at the cemetery.


II Corinthians 5:6-8
So we are always confident, even though we know that as long as we live in these bodies we are not at home with the Lord. For we live by believing and not by seeing. Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord.

Mrs. Lenora Jane Stanewicz, age 68, Gray, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Holston Valley Hospital.

Mrs. Stanewicz was born in Jonesborough and daughter of the late Robert L. & Edith Keefauver Clark. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stanewicz was also preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Keesecker Odom.

She attended Calvary Church.

Mrs. Stanewicz was a Homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and had planted over a 100 trees on their property. But more than anything else Jane loved the Lord Jesus Christ.

Survivors include her husband, Mark Stanewicz, daughter, Kyra Fetters and fiancée, Erik Click; sisters, Mary Slonaker and Pattie Barnett and husband, Stan; nephews, Dr. Dan Slonaker, Tim Slonaker, Gary Keesecker, Alan Keesecker and Jason Keesecker.
