Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 pm Friday, January 20, 2012 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Crossnoe officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Friday prior to the service.

Interment services will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Fairview Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Honaker, Jim Woods, and Deacons of Bowmantown Baptist Church. Honorary pallbearers will be Ralph Hensley, Jake Southerland, Fred Southerland and Glenn Arnold.

Mrs. Emily Austin Winegar, age 86, Telford, went to her heavenly home to be with her Lord Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at Franklin Woods Community Hospital.

Mrs. Winegar was a native of Washington County and daughter of the late Kate Austin Sentman. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Winegar was also preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Robert W. Winegar, Jr.

She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Mrs. Winegar was a faithful member of Bowmantown Baptist Church attending until her health prevented.

She enjoyed playing and winning Rook at the Jonesborough Senior Center and Bingo at Lakebridge Healthcare Center.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Robert L. & Shelley Winegar, Chillicothe, Ohio; daughter and son-in-law, Linda & Steve Greenwell, Telford; four granddaughters, Heather Honaker and husband, Nathan, Elyria, Ohio, Kristal Woods and husband, Jim, Antioch, Tennessee, Angela Greenwell and Stephanie Greenwell, both of Telford; three great-granddaughters, Molly & Josie Honaker and Kate Woods; and several nephews, nieces and many friends.

The family would like to thank the staff of Lakebridge Healthcare Center for their loving care of “Mrs. Emily” and special thanks to the many that prayed for her and brought joy into her life.
