The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Seth Williams and Bro. Kevin Crouch officiating. Interment services will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and friends.


Mrs. Ruby H. Hylton, Jonesborough, went to join her Lord on Sunday, January 15, 2012 while living with her daughter in Seymour, TN.

Mrs. Hylton was born in Augusta County, VA and daughter of the late Gabriel & Nettie Hite. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hylton was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, J.W. Hylton, and a son, Gary Hylton.

She was a member of The Answer Baptist Church in Johnson City. She loved her Lord, family and sitting on her porch.

Mrs. Hylton was a Homemaker.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Wayne & Lorle Hylton, Knoxville; daughter and son-in-law, Linda & Seth Williams, Seymour, TN; grandchildren, Carolyn & Wayne Art, Jerry & Michelle Hylton, Adam & Jessica Williams, Melissa Carr and Veronica Pierson; eleven great-grandchildren and special friends, Jack & Betty Tester.
