Funeral services will be conducted 8:00 pm Monday, January 16, 2012 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Brown and Pastor Amos Penley officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Monday prior to the service.



Interment services will be conducted 11:00 am Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Cherokee Baptist Church Cemetery.



Pallbearers will be Allen Lowe, Richard Tucker, Gary Smith, Allen Neil, Randy Lilly and Larry Cavin. Honorary pallbearers will be Men of Second Baptist Church.



Mrs. Penny Sue Deakins Francis, age 51, Jonesborough, went to be with the Lord Friday, January 13, 2012 at the Johnson City Medical Center.



Mrs. Francis was a native of Washington County and daughter of the late Conley & Ruth Lones Deakins. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Francis was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Paul & Flora Lones and James & Nora Deakins.



She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Jonesborough.



Mrs. Francis had worked for Harris Tarkett for 32 years.



Survivors include her husband, Danny Francis, Jonesborough; daughter, Hannah Francis, Jonesborough; one son and grandson, Chad Francis & Braedon Francis and Chad’s fiancé, Beth Pierce, all of Jonesborough; one sister, Judy Deakins; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve & Teresa Deakins and Rickey & Sherry Deakins, all of Jonesborough; and several nephews, nieces, a great niece and great nephews.
