Funeral services will be conducted 6:00 pm Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Terry Taylor and Tony Hoss officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 pm Saturday prior to the service.

Interment services will be conducted 2:00 pm Sunday, January 15, 2012 at Limestone Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be grandsons & sons-in-law.



Mrs. Barbara Taylor Payne, age 73, Jonesborough, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at her residence.

Mrs. Payne was a native of Washington County and daughter of the late Bill & Anna Mae Taylor. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Payne was also preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Henry William Payne, Sr., brothers, Raymond Taylor, Donnie Taylor and Danny Taylor and one sister, Peggy Hoss.

She was a member of Limestone Church of Christ. She was a Christian, Loving Mother and Wife. She will be missed to all those who knew and loved her.

Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry Payne, of the home, Kathy & Bill Brackins, Telford and Karen & Hugh Sparks, Jonesborough; son and daughter-in-law,, Henry Jr. & Donna Payne, Jonesborough; brothers, Sam Taylor, and Terry Taylor, both of Jonesborough and Michael Taylor and Jeff Taylor, both of Johnson City; sisters, Betty Price, Johnson City, Bootsie Sparks, Jonesborough and Sue West, North Carolina; grandsons, Adam & Jenny Breeden, Aaron Brackins and Derek & Matthew Payne; granddaughters, Brigitte Reyes and Kim Livingston; great-granddaughters, Estrella & Adriana Reyes; great-grandsons, Michael & Andrew Livingston; and several nephews and nieces.
