Graveside services will be conducted 2:30 pm Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Highland Church of Christ Cemetery with Pastor Donald L. Page officiating.

Pallbearers will be Darrell Nelson, Chad Nelson, Dustin Nelson, Glen Price, Jeff Price and Darin Crawford.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Skyline Heights Baptist Church 1601 Skyline Dr. Johnson City, TN 37604.



Mrs. Minnie Agnes Bacon, age 87, Johnson City, passed away Friday, January 6, 2012 at the Johnson City Medical Center.

Mrs. Bacon was born in Fall Branch, Tennessee and daughter of the late Eldrich Foster & Mabel Barnes Bacon Regan. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bacon was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Lynn Atwood and a sister, Bonnie Bacon Nelson.

She was a member of Skyline Heights Baptist Church.

Mrs. Bacon worked thirteen years for Inter Mt. Telephone Co. and retired in 1990 from the Johnson City Medical Center.

Survivors include two nephews, Charles Larry Nelson (Suzanne) and Darrell Eugene Nelson (Karen); two great nephews, Chad Nelson (Deidra) and Dustin Nelson (Rebecca); and very dear friend, Betty Price.
