Proverbs 31:28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed….
Mrs. Anna Margaret Jaynes, age 84, Limestone, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Durham-Hensley Nursing Home.
Mrs. Jaynes was born in Washington County and the daughter of the late Joseph & Anna Holt Lewis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Thomas Jaynes, Jr. and six brothers and sisters.
She was a member of Limestone Fellowship Free Will Baptist Church. Her enjoyment in life was her grandchildren and church.
Mrs. Jaynes was a Resident Aide at Green Valley Development Center.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, David & Elizabeth A. Jaynes and Terry & Kim Jaynes, Limestone; five grandchildren, Daniel Jaynes (Nikki), Amy Jaynes, Tara Thompson (Anthony), Rachel Escher (Matt), Logan Jaynes (Kaitlyn); great-grandchildren, Grayson Babb, Brady & Piper Thompson and Tobin Escher; and many nephews and nieces.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Durham-Hensley Nursing Home and Caris Hospice for their wonderful care.
Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 pm Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Mountain Home National Cemetery with Pastor Gary Hodges officiating.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and family.
Memorial donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House 418 North State of Franklin Rd. Johnson City, TN 37604.
