SERVICE SCHEDULE
Iona Henry Aiken, 95, of Norfolk, VA, passed away January 18, 2019.
Born in Andover, VA, she was the daughter of the late John and Sally Henry and the widow of James O. Aiken. She retired as a Supervisor from the Navy Exchange on Little Creek Amphibious Base.
Left to cherish her memory: two daughters, Barbara Sullivan and Margaret A. McQuinn (Mack); a son, James H. “Jim” Aiken (Amelia); granddaughters, Kari Chase, Amy Mitchell, Annie Aiken, and Meghan Poling; great-grandchildren, Tiernan Ricks, Gwendolyn Iona Ricks, Sunniva Poling, and McKayla Chase; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel on Wednesday, Jan. 23, from 10 to 11 a.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. followed by interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or American Autism Association. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
