Carl K. McNabb


Mr. Carl K. McNabb, age 85, Johnson City, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017 at his residence.
Mr. McNabb was born in Washington County and son of the late Fred & Nellie Helton McNabb. He was also preceded in death by two daughters, Nancy McNabb and Judy Kay McNabb, two brothers, Jack McNabb and Billy Joe McNabb and three sisters, Pearl Morrow, Gladys Story and Beulah Butler.
He was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. McNabb was a United States Army Veteran.
Survivors include four children, Carlos McNabb (Loretta), Johnson City, Wanda Sue Laughren, Johnson City, Ryan McNabb, Gray and Amanda McNabb, Johnson City; grandchildren, Gary Lowery, Kenneth Lowery, David Laughren and Allen Laughren; several great and great-great grandchildren; four sisters, Myrtle Davis, Sarah Ann Foss, and Ruth Bailey, all of Jonesborough and Mary Fender, Oregon.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 pm Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Otis Banks officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Wednesday prior to the service.
Interment services will be conducted 1:00 pm Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Bumpass Cove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family & friends.
