To Alan, Emily, and Lois: So sorry to hear about Montie's passing that I just learned about from Lois last week. We were like brothers while serving some 2 years in the US Army in France. He visited us a couple of times in the years that followed and I was glad to see him. Anne and I met your mother, Janice, in the mid to late 60s in Mobile, AL, where we lived at the time. I know there will be many fond memories. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Lois, I am terribly sorry in the passing of Montie. I only heard about it today via e-mail from Don Jones are would have tried to be there for the funeral. I thought a lot of Montie and always considered him a good man. We hadn't talked in a long time because of me living up here so long, but will never forget all our good times at the Moose. I hope you and all the family are doing well and again offer my deepest sympathy. I still haven't heard from Teresa, thought I would let her call me because she works and I'm up all the time. Give me a call if there's anything I can do and take care. Again, sorry for your loss.
